The first Panmen Qingxi Wind Chime Festival opened on New Year's Day 2015!


From ancient times to the present, hanging wind chimes at home is regarded as a symbol of blessing, good fortune, longing, wishes, and warding off evil. With a gentle breeze, the colorful wind chimes sway, and their melodious sounds dispel the heat of people's emotions, bringing a sense of tranquility to each other's hearts. As the origin of wind chimes, China is committed to developing and promoting the 'Qingxi Wind Chime Festival' as a characteristic festival activity, inheriting culture.

From January to March 2015, the Panmen Scenic Area, in collaboration with Tongcheng Network Technology Co., Ltd., will hold the first Qingxi Wind Chime Festival at Panmen. Tens of thousands of wind chimes will be hung in the courtyard, gathering various types of wind chimes, and the cool sounds will pour out, playing cheerful songs.

Content Summary:

From January to March 2015, the first 'Qingxi Wind Chime Festival' organized by Tongcheng Tourism will be held at Panmen in Suzhou. During this time, approximately 15,000 wind chimes will be decorated in the Panmen Scenic Area, with over 50 varieties, including 8,000 ancient style, 5,000 Japanese style, and 2,000 creative style, along with windmills and colorful installations of various sizes. Visitors will be immersed in a sea of pleasant chimes, with visual, auditory, and tactile sensations released, enveloped in a dreamlike paradise.

Highlights:

At that time, Tongcheng Tourism will invite master wind chime makers to create exquisite handmade wind chimes on-site and interact with visitors. Additionally, Tongcheng volunteers will distribute various creative cultural gifts in Panmen! The gentle sound of chimes will welcome everyone to come and enjoy in the new year!
