Colliding with Electronic Music

The Panmen Scenic Area is located in the southwestern corner of Suzhou's ancient city, boasting numerous historical sites and rich cultural attractions. Within the area, Rui Guang Tower, the Water and Land City Gate, and Wu Men Bridge are all designated as National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units. The scenic area is divided into five distinct zones: the Entrance Area, the Ming-Qing Commercial District, the Central Courtyard Area, the Western Residential Area, and the City Wall Park Area. These zones seamlessly integrate Wu Men Bridge, the Ancient Panmen Gate, and Rui Guang Tower, creating a uniquely charming landscape and tourism layout.

This pre-event party will be held on Saturday, August 10th, at the Panmen Scenic Area. We’ve prepared three unique themed stages, interactive photo spots, a Kandi Bar, a lantern-floating event, an incredibly popular lineup of DJs, and refreshing, smooth Heineken® Star Silver beer. Join us as we journey through the ancient city and serene gardens, fully immersing ourselves in an electrifying night of music!

Chinese water lantern and river lantern culture has a long and profound history, characterized by elegance, grace, enduring charm, and exquisite craftsmanship. As they drift gently across the flowing rivers, their shimmering lights seem to dance on the surface, casting colorful reflections along the tranquil streams. On the evening of the Qixi Festival, the Panmen Scenic Area offers not only an electrifying audiovisual feast featuring electronic music but also a uniquely festive Water Lantern Festival, allowing everyone immersed in the event to experience the deep emotions of love and warmth. Along the riverbanks, towering ancient trees stand majestically, complemented by quaint pavilions and elegant architectural structures that harmoniously blend together, adding a touch of classical elegance to this extraordinary celebration.

Waterfront Penglai Stage

Ripples and sound waves intertwine.

The AQUATIC STAGE, located in the central courtyard of Suzhou Panmen Scenic Area, is designed based on the traditional classical garden motif of "One Pond and Three Hills." Shaped as an octagon with water surrounding seven sides, this stage is complemented by dazzling beams of light, creating a mesmerizing dance floor where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the interplay of shimmering waves, radiant lights, and rhythmic soundscapes. This year, RINALY, who will soon grace the main stage of EDC, will deliver an electrifying performance at the AQUATIC STAGE, inviting everyone to dive into the ultimate prelude to the night of pure celebration.

RINALY

A renowned Japanese DJ and music producer, she has performed at major global clubs as well as at prominent international electronic music festivals such as EDC China, EDC Japan, and the official Transmission Party. Several of her singles have topped the Trance charts on Beatport. In 2020, she was ranked No. 2 by DJ Mag Japan.

DEXTER KING

Monstercat-signed DJ and producer who pioneered the introduction of Chinese popular electronic music to Europe and America, ranking 99th on DJ Mag's Top 100 in 2021. Known as the "King of Live Performances" for his exceptional showmanship and production skills, Dexter King has graced stages at major music events worldwide over a thousand times. With cumulative online streams exceeding 100 million, his music continues to attract attention from leading record labels and brands, making frequent appearances in various TV shows, video games, advertisements, film and television projects, as well as cutting-edge metaverse initiatives.

HARMSON

HARMSON is a DJ who knows how to ignite the audience—referred to as a "music magician" for his masterful ability to seamlessly blend diverse electronic music styles. With his unique remixes, he expertly pumps up the energy on the dance floor, driving the atmosphere of every event to its peak. HARMSON consistently delivers the perfect musical experience, bringing the most fitting tracks straight to the ears of his listeners. He regularly performs at Asia's most prestigious and highly regarded clubs, as well as at world-renowned EDC festivals across the globe.

TIFFANY

Awarded the Music Industry Scholarship from Berklee College of Music in the United States, she boasts years of solid training in both traditional and classical piano techniques. During her time studying in the U.S., she had the opportunity to perform as a supporting act for renowned artists such as ANDREW RAYEL, DASH BERLIN, and Wang Yitai. Upon returning to China, she received invitations to perform at prominent music events including Kuaishou Music Festival, EDC China, SKI, Gaia Music Festival, Khala Presents: The Life Beyond, Mixmag, EVC, Anjunafamily, and various major clubs across North America—such as Nebula, The Grand, and Royale.

Wengcheng Stage

The Gate Tower Stage, where the "Wengcheng" refers to a semicircular or square defensive structure built outside city gates—a key element of ancient urban fortifications. Panmen's Wengcheng features two layers of water gates and two layers of land gates, offering shade and shelter during the day and a cool, comfortable ambiance at night. Here, in this quintessentially Chinese artistic haven, you'll witness performances brimming with unique character, immerse yourself in cutting-edge electronic sounds, and experience an artful atmosphere that captivates both your ears and eyes.

BRUNO

BRUNO was born into a musical family and has harbored an immense passion for music since childhood. In 2016, he embarked on his journey to China, where he began his career in music production and DJing. By 2023, BRUNO officially launched his professional DJ career. Today, he has performed at numerous renowned clubs and has organized or participated in several major music festivals, dedicated to promoting the vibrant rhythms and melodies of House music.

CODER

A member of the Nanjing-based Aggressivalor fishbone label, this DJ is an active figure in Nanjing's underground music scene. Primarily focusing on House and Techno, he has a deep fascination with all forms of 4/4-beat music. Day after day, CODER dedicates extensive time to curating and organizing tracks, cultivating a unique and eclectic musical taste of his own. Rhythm is his musical signature—integrating music deeply into his daily life, all in pursuit of authentically conveying his distinctive musical ethos.

FINAL REQUEST

From Russia, he is a highly active figure in both the domestic and international electronic music scenes. His music, much like his name suggests, embodies an adventurous journey that opens up new horizons, transporting listeners away from reality into another dimension. His tracks have graced major festivals such as TOMORROWLAND and AWAKENING FESTIVAL, and are frequently played by renowned DJs—truly techno anthems designed to ignite the dance floor.

MARC LUSSIER

The Music Director of W Hotels showcases his expertise in promoting and curating DJ events, ensuring that the brand’s musical offerings remain at the forefront of current trends. MARC has shared the stage with numerous renowned DJs, including Tiesto, Steve Aoki, James Zabiela, Paul Oakenfold, Pep N Rash, Apster, and others. As an artist, MARC continually refines his craft, delivering dynamic and versatile performances that highlight his diverse musical talents.

YANG BING

Renowned as a master-level figure in Chinese electronic music, he has been a DJ for over two decades. In the 1990s, the "Great Wall Rave Party," curated by him, marked the first time China's party culture gained recognition on the international electronic music scene. In 2017, he served as the producer of "Break The Wall," a documentary celebrating 20 years of Chinese electronic music, and led a group of key figures from China's electronic music community to participate in ADE, Amsterdam's premier electronic music event. He has also been invited twice to attend Fusion Festival, a leading European music festival embodying the spirit of free and avant-garde innovation.

LUZZ

As one of the leading figures in Suzhou's electronic music scene, he has earned widespread acclaim within the industry for his exceptional musical performances and distinctive style. Luzz not only excels in the realm of House music but also demonstrates remarkable talent in Black music and soulful rhythms, seamlessly integrating these elements into his own compositions. His profound understanding and heartfelt expression of these musical genres elevate his work, lending it greater depth and originality.

LIAN.E

Lü Guang is a city planner, Life Groove Factory brand DJ, producer, and independent singer-songwriter. Hailing from Suzhou, she is 19 years old and has been engaged in music creation for six years. In 2023, she officially debuted as a DJ, inspired by the Qingdao Gaia Music Festival and EDC China—experiences that have significantly accelerated her growth. Specializing in genres such as HIP-HOP, POP, JAZZ, LATIN, and HOUSE, her musical philosophy revolves around embracing all through melody and fostering inclusivity in music. She strives to become an outstanding electronic singer-songwriter. Since 2023, she has performed at venues including De Venue Club and Unda2 Club in Suzhou, as well as events like Jinji Lake Sunset Party, Rhythm of Autumn at Kendra Art Museum, Andaz Hotel Nanjing Hexi, Ins Playground Shanghai, and Dirty House Club.
